Mr Lim Thiam Lee, Philip | A wine connoisseur, Philip brings with him years of industry experience. He spent 10 years with the Hyatt group of Hotels, having the opportunities working not only in Singapore but also in Montreaux (Switzerland), and Brussels (Belgium). In addition, he also worked for 10 years in SHATEC as Head of F&B Academic. Currently pursuing his Masters in Tourism Planning & Development, Philip is also the Chairman (Human Resource) for PATA Chapter in Singapore. Having constantly provided training and/or consultancy work in Philippines, Malaysia, Finland, Australia and Myanmar, Philip’s philosophy is that one needs to exceed his/her best in order to achieve excellence. Mr Yong Kit Mun | Yong Kit Mun is a senior lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and also the Course Manager for TP's Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Business programme that is conducted fully at The Tourism Academy @ Sentosa. Mr Yong graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) from the then Nanyang Technological Institute, now known as the Nanyang Technological University. Since then, he has been involved in various roles in the travel and tourism industry. He served for five years in the travel divisions of Sime Darby and NOL (Neptune Orient Lines), managing incentives as well as tour retail and wholesale business. Before joining Temasek Polytechnic, he was employed by the two Australian state governments of Tasmania and Victoria. He led their marketing efforts in Asia (except Japan). When he left in 1997, Tourism Victoria had grown from just one office in Asia to having offices and representations in Singapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Seoul and Hong Kong. At Temasek Business School, Mr Yong chaired the Publicity & Promotions Committee amongst other roles. Since 1999, Mr Yong has facilitated numerous tourism development programmes in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam under the auspices of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Initiatives for the Association of South-East Asian Nations Integration (IAI) programme.
