Yen San is no stranger to winning awards.  An active sports woman, Yen San won many in TP, including the DBS Bank Gold Medal (Top Business Student), ICPAS Gold Medal (Top Accounting & Finance Student) and several book prizes.  She was also awarded a scholarship from the Financial Training Company to pursue the ACCA qualification, while working in a local bank as an Assistant Customer Service Officer.

She said, “The Diploma in Accounting & Finance has provided me with a strong foundation and I completed ACCA within 1½ years.”

She joined KPMG after obtaining her ACCA qualifications.  Her 3½ years with the firm saw her promotion to a Senior Associate before she joined a consulting firm. One of the interesting projects she worked on involved the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for a company in Suzhou.  

She returned to KPMG as an Assistant Manager in May 2005. Now she is a Manager in the Professional Practice division with KPMG.  Yen San has found success in both her career and family - with the arrival of her baby boy in April 2006.
