• You can pick up a copy of the Self-Secured Placement Package from the Business General Office. The Self-Secured Placement Package consists of:
• Self Secured Placement Declaration Form
• Application Package -General Information /SIP Response Form /SIP Training Programme
• You are to get the company to complete the Response Form and Training Programme and submit them together with the Self Secured Placement Declaration Form by the date indicated on the form to the Business General Office.
• You should attempt to present yourself well when companies that you approach require you to send in your resume and/or attend an interview with the company.
• The School has also sent out formal invitations to companies enlisting their participation in our SIP programme. If the School has invited the companies that you approach, you may request the company (if they are keen to accept you for the attachment) to specifically include your name in their Response Form.
• If you source for more than one company placement, you must only choose and submit the form for one placement only.
• All self-secured placements will be subject to the SIP Committee’s scrutiny in terms of credibility of the company, suitability of training programme and job match. You will be kept informed if the Committee accepts / does not accept the self-secured placement.
• You should confirm the placement with the company only after obtaining the SIP committee’s approval. It is your responsibility to inform the company of the committee’s decision.
