| 28 Mar 2008 | SIP Launch at Temasek Polytechnic. Students will be given details of the company. |
| 14 Apr 2006 | Students report to their respective employers for a 24-week attachment training. SIP interns will be jointly supervised by the company's supervisor and the polytechnic's Liaison Officer (LO). The LO will conduct visits to the company during the attachment period to follow up on interns' progress. |
07 Jun 2008 16 Aug 2008 | SIP interns return to Temasek Polytechnic for 2 compulsory on-campus training sessions. These sessions help students identify specific learning points and relate their on-the-job experience to concepts taught in their course of study |

| 03 Oct 2008 | Employers submit Appraisal Form on student interns and Feedback Form |
