WHAT IS THE SIP?
At Temasek Polytechnic, the emphasis is on creativity, innovation, individual initiative and flexibility in a learning process that goes beyond the classroom. Industry-focused training is the key to raising a new breed of thinker-doers to meet the challenges of the future.
The Student Internship Programme (SIP) is specifically aimed at final year students (SIP interns). It provides industrial attachment to various companies as part of their diploma course requirements. Through the SIP, students will be able to reinforce the knowledge they learnt in school and apply the concepts and principles to practical situations.
HOW CAN I BENEFIT FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE SIP?
The SIP can serve as part of the company's recruitment process in helping to identify and test out prospective employees. SIP interns are expected to join the employment market in May each year.

As partners-in-education, companies can provide input to our curriculum to meet the changing demands of their company and industry.
