Course Synopsis
In the fast paced environment that we live in today, our police and security personnel play an extremely vital role in maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of our key installations.
Jointly offered with SATS Security Services Pte Ltd, Singapore Police Force and Certis CISCO, this course is designed for personnel in the police and security industry who wish to further their qualifications in police studies and security management.
Career Opportunities
Participants can move into supervisory roles and more management-related positions.

- Certificate - 1 year
- Diploma - 2 years
- 2 weekdays, 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm and
Saturdays 8.30 am to 1.30 pm

5 Dec 2008 for Cert (None for Diploma)
Course Fee
$2,942.50 per year (Including GST)
Minimum Entry Requirements
- 3 GCE 'O' level passes
- 3 years of relevant working experience
- Satisfactory completion of recognised basic police or security training
Upon successful completion of the Certificate course, participants can progress to the Diploma level, provided there are sufficient number of qualified applicants in the next stage - Participants must complete the Certificate course in order to proceed to the Diploma level
- Applicants with 1 or 2 GCE 'O' level passes or 3 GCE 'N' level passes must attend and pass a 6-month Foundation programme (http://www.tp.edu.sg/home/pdc/parttime/pdc_pt_tbe.htm)or such qualifying tests as Temasek Polytechnic may prescribe
- Applicants with other academic qualifications and extensive working experience will be considered on a selective basis
