Mr Goh Hock Kee Goh Hock Kee
Course Manager


Hock Kee joined Temasek Polytechnic as a lecturer in 1992. His main area of teaching revolves around logistics and supply chain management. Hock Kee is active in providing executive training and consultancy to various logistics organizations. In recent years, he was invited as conference/seminar speaker held in Singapore as well as overseas.

In 1995, Hock Kee was sponsored by Temasek Polytechnic to pursue his postgraduate studies in Purchasing and Logistics. In 1997, Hock Kee received Temasek Polytechnic’s Productivity and Quality Award. Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Hock Kee worked for MNCs like Johnson & Johnson and Bausch & Lomb where he held positions as Materials Manager and Warehouse & Distribution Manager respectively.

Hock Kee is married with one child. During his free time, Hock Kee enjoys outdoor activities like trekking, jogging and swimming.

Mr Lim Keng Jin Selwyn Lim Keng Jin Selwyn
Section Head


Selwyn’s teaching expertise is in the area of Logistics Management. He is specialising in teaching the subjects of Purchasing, Business Statistics, Logistics Management, Inventory and Quality Management.

In addition, he is also involved in providing executive training in TP’s part-time programs to external adult learners.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities Selwyn is also a qualified ISO-9000 auditor and is a member of the Temasek Quality Steering team. Prior to joining TP, Selwyn was working in various electronic manufacturing companies, where he was involved in procurement, quality control and program management functions.

Mr Teo Kee Boon

 Teo Kee Boon
Section Head


Kee Boon’s expertise in logistics management is in the area of warehousing and transport/freight management.  He is currently teaching statistics, business calculus, transport management and bio-chemical logistics.

Kee Boon has a basic degree in Science, majoring in Mathematics. He obtained his Master of Business (Logistics) from the Royal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT).

He has spent 13 years as a logistics professional, working in third party logistics companies (both local and MNCs), managing local and regional operations. His logistics experience spans from warehouse, seafreight, airfreight, local transportation, to managing the supply chain for global customers.

Mrs Wee-Teo Ni Ni, Cheryl Wee-Teo Ni Ni, Cheryl
Lecturer


Cheryl is currently teaching Distribution Centre Management, Operations Management, Quality Management, Business Calculus & Business Statistics.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, she worked in a Distribution Centre, and was involved in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning and Inventory Management. Her responsibilities included optimising service level, upkeeping stock profile, and she acquired skills in Planning, Forecasting, Order Handling, Scheduling and Capacity Planning. She has also participated in review of the total supply chain cycle, and taken part in a major warehouse relocation project.

Cynthia is currently teaching Operations Management, Materials Management, Purchasing Principles & Practices and Business Statistics.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, she worked in manufacturing company and was involved in product planning, forecasting and project coordination.

Mrs Gan Lee-Yat Sum 

Gan Lee-Yat Sum
Lecturer


Yat Sum is currently working as a lecturer in Temasek Polytechnic teaching Materials Management, Purchasing, Business Statistics and Business Calculus. She is also teaching Inventory Management for skill certificate and part time courses.

Her job experience included many years in the materials planning and procurement functions in electronic manufacturing companies. This includes working with different functional group in generating an optimized master schedule for all product lines . For procurement functions, it included sourcing and managing suppliers. She also managed programs on new product transfers and played an advisory role for both planning and purchasing in the new product development.

Mr Johnny Tan Johnny Tan
Lecturer


Johnny is currently a Lecturer at Temasek Business School. He graduated from Oklahoma City University, USA with Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Honours) Degrees.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic in 1996, he worked in the past 14 years in logistics, warehousing and factory operations management at various electronics, computer and aviation industries. The appointments held include Factory Manager, Programme Manager and Administration Manager.

In addition, Johnny Tan provides consultancy service to industry in areas of Logistics Physical Distribution, Warehousing Operations, Effective Supervision, QCC, BPR, 5S, 7W, Work Study and Project Management. He is an Ordinary Member of Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and a Faculty Member of Singapore Productivity Association (SPA). At Temasek Business School, he specialises in Distribution Centre Management, e-Logistics and Logistics & Operations Measurement.

Mr Tan Kim Hock 

Tan Kim Hock
Lecturer


Tan Kim Hock completed his BSc (Hons) at Queen Mary College , University of London . He also holds a specialist Diploma in Banking & Finance from the Institute of Banking & Finance, Singapore . He is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing ( UK ).

Prior to joining the Polytechnic, he has worked for several financial institutions, namely, the International Bank of Singapore, Kuwait Bank, Asia and Nomura Bank, Singapore .

Kim Hock has been teaching several subjects in the areas of Operations Management, Business Statistics, Business Calculus and Research Methods.

Mr Lum Fook Seng Lum Fook Seng
Lecturer


Fook Seng joined Temasek Polytechnic as a Lecturer in 1999. He has been lecturing in various logistics and supply chain management subjects such as Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning & Control System and E-Logistics. Fook Seng has a strong passion in using experiential learning and teaching method in his subjects.

His main focus is in training, industrial research, consultancy and customer satisfaction.

His job experience included 15 years in logistics operations and management covering purchasing, inventory planning and control, production planning and control, order administration, warehousing, traffic and customer satisfaction. He spent 13 years in Motorola with 8 years as Distribution Manager in charge of the distribution center for aftermarket products supporting Asia region. During these periods, he has led several teams in key initiative projects winning several awards in Asia.

Hui Ling is currently teaching Transport Management, Distribution Centre Management, Business Statistics & Business Calculus.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, she worked in a transport & warehousing company for 5 years. Her responsibilities included scheduling and routing of transportation fleet and fleet usage optimization. Hui Ling was also involved in the designing and acquiring of storage and material handling equipment for the new warehouse which the company currently owns.

Siew Yong worked in PSA for 4 years before joining TP in 2000. He teaches Quantitative Techniques and is particularly interested in optimization techniques such as modelling and simulation.

Mr Tan Poh Chuan Tan Poh Chuan

Poh Chuan is currently a lecturer and has been teaching various subjects such as Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning & Control Systems and Transport Management. His job experience included 15 years in project management and factory operations. His main focus is in the field of Transportation Management.

Mr Foo Choo Yen Foo Choo Yen
Lecturer

Choo Yen obtained his MSc (ISE) with specialization in project management and B Eng (Hons) from National University of Singapore. He has also completed an Advance Diploma in International Supply Chain Management from Singapore Institute of Material Management. Prior to joining Temesek Polytechnic, he has worked in semiconductor wafer fab startups and manufacturing companies. His experience also included sales and supply chain operations with electronics material provider.

He is currently teaching statistics. His other academic interests are in Operation Management and SCM Modeling.

Jenny graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and Economics.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Jenny had worked in the logistics and transportation industry for 16 years. She has held various appointments in her previous organization from heading the air export team in the airfreight division to the customer service team in order fulfillment to managing the warehouse operations in the distribution department. She was also involved in several key projects in her previous company involving warehouse relocation, RF-system roll-out and implementation of new Distribution Centers.

Jenny is currently teaching Business Calculus and Transport Management in Temasek Business School. She is also involved in the development and teaching of the new elective subject on International Freight Practices.

Benson Tan Peng Loo
Lecturer


Benson is currently teaching Business Statistics & Business Calculus.  He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Logistics from National University of Singapore.

Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Benson worked in DHL Global Forwarding. During his 9-year service with DHL, Benson had the opportunity to move around the various divisions of the freight business which covered Customer Service, Regional Operations and Business Development. He was also involved the in industry initiatives such as Cargo 2000 which meant to improve the efficiency of the air cargo industry.
