Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Scholarship
The STB Scholarship is established to nurture outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, high intellectual capacity, sound character and strong leadership potential and who share the vision to shape Singapore into powerful tourism hub attracting visitors, talents and businesses from across the world. The STB Scholarship is offered to students pursuing Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Diploma in Leisure & Resort Management, and Diploma in Culinary & Catering Management.
Eligibility
Applicants for the STB scholarship must:
- Be Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents;
- Passionate about pursuing a career in the vibrant tourism industry
- Have a good co-curricular activities record;
- Have good academic records in Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level and
- Have at least a minimum of 3.5 GPA score for the first semester of the Freshman year
Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship shall cover the student’s school fees, compulsory fees and an allowance of S$6,000.00 per academic year
- The scholarship covers the entire duration of the diploma studies (3 years) on condition that students maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.5.
- Upon graduation, scholars are to secure employment from and remained employed on a full time basis for a minimum period of 3 years by a tourism related company in Singapore.
