![]() | Mr Leong Chun Chong Senior Lecturer Leong Chun Chong holds a B.Bus, Curtin University, Australia, a MBA from University of Dublin, Eire, a Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance from the ACCA, UK, and a Diploma in Marketing from CIM, UK. Chun Chong is a member of the pioneer batch of Lecturers who started Temasek Polytechnic. Chun Chong is currently a Senior Lecturer with the team and concurrently advising in the market development of The Tourism Academy@Sentosa. Prior to this, he spent 4 years to start and run the international students office under the Registrar’s Office and later the International Relations and Industry Services Department. Before becoming a full time academic, he had varied industrial experiences in the manufacturing and construction industries holding senior production, marketing and general management positions. He was the CEO with Eastern Partek Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Natsteel Group of Companies, and concurrently held several directorships of companies within the group before joining Singapore Polytechnic and shortly after, Temasek Polytechnic. Chun Chong was awarded an AOTS scholarship for 5 ASEAN countries in 1981 to study Japanese Factory Management for Medium-scale Industries (FMMI) in Osaka, Japan, during the Fukuda government. Chun Chong is actively involved in the executive councils of Marketing Institute of Singapore and the Irish Graduates Association of Singapore (IGAS). ![]() | Mrs Lim-Chan Pek Lin Senior Lecturer Mrs Lim joined the academia in 1987. She served as the Course Manager in charge of the Diploma in Business at Temasek Polytechnic from 1995 to 2004. Recent projects that Mrs Lim has been involved with include the conduct of Performance Appraisal workshops, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the People Developer Programme and the Singapore Quality Award. As part of her community involvement, Mrs Lim serves actively as a Family Court Mediator. Her other professional areas of interests include supervisory and managerial training and Problem-Based Learning (PBL). PBL is a key learning approach adopted by the Temasek Business School, Temasek Polytechnic, and Mrs Lim coordinates the School’s initiative in said area. Kiah Jee is currently a Lecturer with the Diploma in Business course in Temasek Polytechnic. Kiah Jee has been in the academic field for more than ten years. Her areas of specialisation include Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development. Kiah Jee has vast industry experience in the human resource management, training and educational fields. Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, she was the Human Resource Manager of a pharmaceutical company. She also has many years of practical experience in the areas of training consultancy, and managing the human resource function and training activities of companies in the hotel and food & beverage industries. ![]() | Mr Nah Yam Lim Lecturer Nah Yam Lim was an Air Traffic Controller in the air force before he became a Branch Head with the air manpower department. From the manpower department of the air force in the 1980s, he switched to the human resource department with Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) in the 90s. He holds a BBA degree from the University of Singapore and a MBA from the University of Warwick, UK. He is the founder of the TP Juggling Club (http://www.come.to/tpjuggling), probably the only one among tertiary institutions in Singapore. “Juggling gives restless students something to focus on. It is analogous to the various roles we have to learn. One juggles for life. Juggling is the same as time management. We juggle everyday”. No wonder juggling is Yam Lim’s favourite hobby. He is currently a Lecturer teaching International Business and Entrepreneurship subjects in Temasek Business School, Temasek Polytechnic. Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Vincent was a Regional Sales Manager with an US MNC in the specialty chemical business. He also had the experience of running a local trading company for a Malaysia-based company in Singapore. He was also involved in the establishment of a local franchise business. Prior to that, he worked for Sony and was posted to Sony HQ in Japan for a short-term assignment of 3 months.
