President's Message
Dear HTB Alumni, On behalf of the Alumni protem committee, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you! Our fast-growing Alumni family is a distinctive smorgasbord of multinationals from diverse background - which makes us truly unique in terms of our potential and needs as an Alumni. The protem committee recognises the importance of networking and given our asset of social diversity, networking brings about idea-sharing, preservation of our ties and creation of opportunities that may transcend ethnic, cultural and even geographical boundaries. In short, the benefits are boundless. Not surprisingly, thus, networking serves as the key basis to the development of our Alumni club. Maintaining connectivity with the hospitality & tourism industry is at the top of our agenda. We envision our Alumni club as a platform to empower, communicate, network and keep pace with the industry. Seeking to grow through events, all future Alumni club initiatives will be planned and executed with this shared vision in mind, while aiming to serve the varied needs and manage expectations of our supportive Alumni family members. I believe the Alumni Club has a symbiotic relationship with its alma mater. As the Alumni grows in numbers and through its networking opportunities, it will hopefully provide the ballast to anchor our alumni’s aspirations and help establish The Tourism Academy as a quality educational institution with many success stories to share. Let’s work together as a TAS Alumni family and continue to grow with the industry! "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." - Henry Ford Koh Lay Ling | ![]() |
